Automatic vs Manual PPC: Why Choosing Just One Could Be Costing You Sales

Many Amazon sellers treat Automatic and Manual campaigns as if they are competing against each other. In reality, they're teammates.

Think of it like choosing between a treasure map and a metal detector. The treasure map helps you search where you believe the treasure is buried, while the metal detector helps you discover treasures you didn't know existed.

Automatic campaigns are excellent for discovering new search terms, customer behavior, and hidden opportunities. Manual campaigns, on the other hand, give you greater control by allowing you to focus your budget on proven keywords, ASINs, and categories.

The most effective PPC strategy isn't choosing one over the other, it's using Automatic campaigns to gather data and Manual campaigns to capitalize on what works.
